This Privacy Policy explains how Notexa Inc., a North Carolina corporation with its address at 4030 Wake Forest Rd, Ste 349, Raleigh, NC 27609 ("Notexa", "we", "us"), handles personal information of visitors to our website at notexa.ai (the "Site").

This Policy covers the Site only. The Notexa app and the Notexa device have their own privacy policies, available in the app and on the relevant app store pages.

1. Information we collect

The Site is an informational page. It does not offer user accounts, and we do not ask you to submit personal information through it.

Automatically collected data: when you visit the Site, our hosting provider Shopify and the technologies described in Section 6 collect your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, pages viewed, referring URL, and the date and time of your visit.
Information you send us: if you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the content of your message.

When you click a Google Play or App Store link, you leave the Site, and Google or Apple collects information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

2. How we use information

We use this information to operate, secure, and maintain the Site, prevent abuse, understand how the Site is used and improve it, respond to your messages, and comply with legal obligations.

Where the GDPR or similar law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure and functional website, on your consent where required (for example, for non-essential cookies), and on legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:

Shopify, which hosts the Site and processes visitor data to provide its services (Shopify Privacy Policy (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy));
other service providers that help us run the Site, such as analytics or email providers, under contracts that limit their use of the data;
authorities or other parties where required by law or needed to protect our rights, users, or others;
a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, taking into account applicable legal requirements and the retention practices of our service providers, and keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up. Cookie lifetimes are set out in the cookie banner or browser settings.
